Payment, cancellation and refund information

Last updated: 08 October 2026

1. Nature of portal fees

Payments made through this portal relate to RTI application fees, first-appeal fees, additional fees or copying charges, as applicable under the governing rules and official fee schedule.

2. Cancellation

An applicant may stop completing an application before final submission. Once an application or appeal has been successfully registered and the payment has been recorded, cancellation is subject to the applicable RTI rules and official administrative decision.

3. Refunds

Fees and copying charges paid through the portal are generally non-refundable unless a refund is required or approved under applicable law, rules, an official order or a verified payment-processing error.

4. Failed or duplicate payments

If money is debited but the portal does not show a successful transaction, the applicant should retain the bank or gateway reference and contact the RTI Help Desk. Duplicate or failed transactions will be reviewed against gateway and bank records. Any approved refund will be processed through the payment channel and timeline prescribed by the payment provider and applicable rules.

5. How to request assistance

Use the Contact Us page and provide the registration number, payment reference, date and amount. Do not send card numbers, passwords, OTPs or full payment credentials by email.

6. Policy changes

This policy may be updated to reflect changes in law, rules, official fee schedules or payment-provider procedures.
