Digital delivery and service availability for RTI requests

Last updated: 08 October 2026

1. Digital service

This portal provides digital RTI application, first-appeal, payment and status-tracking services. It does not sell or dispatch physical goods, and therefore no physical shipping or courier delivery is applicable.

2. When the service is delivered

A submitted request becomes available for administrative processing after the required information is received and the applicable payment or exemption is successfully recorded. The registration or acknowledgement number displayed by the portal should be retained by the applicant.

3. Digital communications

Replies, orders, acknowledgements, reminders and other communications may be displayed in the applicant account and may also be sent to the email address or mobile number supplied by the applicant. Applicants should check their account and contact details regularly.

4. Processing timelines

Statutory and administrative timelines are governed by the applicable RTI Act, rules and official procedures. Portal submission does not shorten, extend or replace those requirements.

5. Service interruptions

Temporary interruption may occur because of maintenance, connectivity, payment-gateway issues, security controls or events outside the portal’s control. Applicants should retry later or contact the RTI Help Desk if a transaction or submission remains unresolved.

6. Support

For assistance with a digital submission, use the Contact Us page and provide the relevant registration or transaction reference without sharing your password.
